The pictures are so beautiful and it does make me so nostalgic.

Still no job for me?

Dear Anna:

By way of introduction, my name is Brian Maher and our families go way back. My mother, long gone, grew up in Glen Cove, and we lived in Sea Cliff. I recognized the name Dioguardi as soon as Lorrie Longo mentioned it a week ago and could not wait to get to your blog to see the insights you have to life.

It could be said that you and I are in the same business, though you are the CEO and I am the clerk (no offense to clerks). Since it was introduced to our diocese, I have be active in Stewardship in our parish. My gift seems to be the written word, and I have had a weekly column in the bulletin since 1997 in which I try to help people make God first in their lives and to realize the gifts that each of us have...and then to use them to do His Work--a concept that is obviously clear to you.

I will continue to admire you from afar, pray that the good work that you do will help others, and be mindful of the selfless gift you give each day.

Blessings,
Brian

PS: My column this week is about you. Might I have your email address so I can send it to you?
